How does it work?

We work by acting as a proxy between your application and OpenAI. We track your usage, and forward your requests to OpenAI.

1. Enter your API key

We must know your API key in order to track and forward your requests to OpenAI. We will never use API key for any other purpose.

You can add multiple API keys per project: If you have multiple API keys, you can add them all to a single project. This allows you to track usage across multiple API keys.
We will never use your API key for any other purpose: We only use your API key to track and forward your requests to OpenAI.

2. Update your OpenAI Endpoint

In your application code, update your OpenAI base URL to our endpoint. Our API is 100% compatible with OpenAI.

Track usage: For each request you make, we'll record it in our database to be used in analytics.
Forward requests to OpenAI: After recording your request data, we'll forward the exact same request to OpenAI. We have a 100% feature parity with OpenAI, including streamed responses.

3. View your usage stats

Finally, you can view your usage stats in the dashboard. We'll show you how many requests you've made, how much it cost, and more. Our proxy-based approach allows us to track more advanced metrics, such as the average number of tokens per request.
